Has he been checked for all possible genetic defects....Hearing tested, eyes tested, bile acid tested, checked for luxating patellas, leggs perthes, full blood panel. Does he come from an excellent pedigree. And is he an excellent representation of the breed. Are you prepared to assist in whelping, take puppies that can't be sold, etc.....It's a big responsibilty.....Most breeders have their own studs and those that don't usually turn to show breeders for studding.
