I know what you mean totally...When i was first thinking of buying Pixie i confided in a couple of friends about how much i was going to be paying for her etc.. Then, when i was working with a group of people i don't know very well the topic of me getting my new Yorkie came up...one of them said.."I bet she's costing alot of money"? so i said.."yes..a fair bit" and was just going to leave it at that..but then this 'friend' that i had confided in decided to tell them all exactly how much i was paying for her!! it was embarassing for me..of course they all pulled faces and made the usual comments...."that much for a dog"!!
