Just got back from getting the second opinion and wanted to update everyone and ask a few more questions.

Both vets, my regular one and my aunt's agree that Tini does have LCP. She needs surgery and I have the name of a couple of surgeons. I have to say thanks so much to everyone for all your support and suggesions. Thanks to all of you I wasn't a total idiot and knew what to ask/do. While I am totally so sad that Tini has to go through this, I know you all will help us along.

Now....for my question....to you Breeders out there...
I have a "1 year warranty against disabling congetnital genetic defects" from the breeder as part of the contract to buy Tini. How should I present this information to the breeder so that they will be able to respond quickly? Do I need to send something from the vet? Do I just give her the vet info and her vet can call my vet? Any advice on how to handle this would be most appreciated.
