I actually shaved a little more than 1/3 on Skittles (both sides of the ears)- also, I chose not to do the tape thing. I figured if shaving them didn't work then I wouldn't do anything else. My breeder suggested using unflavored gelatin on her ears (which I actually mixed up w/a little water into a really thick paste & then put it on her ears), but then I was having company & I washed it off - I did see Skittles' brother when the breeder put the gelatin on his ears & it worked! His ears stand up perfectly now - however, this method is kinda messy & made his ears look a little crusty for awhile.

I've always read to shave the upper third of both sides of the ears and to be sure to trim the edges and to use masking tape cut into triangles and place that on the inside of the ear to help it stand.

Anyone else?

Muffin had floppy ears and Kacee has floppy ears. I've never done anything to make them stand.
