it is 15" off the ground but it going to the highest point in the back

they can easily get on there and off of there, to me is classy bed,

i really like mine and it doesnt take up a whole lot of space and its not heavy to move around but it holds alot cause i have 2 year old twins who would both sit on it togther and bouce and read their books on it to i shooed them off, but they thought it was like their own littel couch.
