Lara, you said that you would never "hit or hurt a dog," insinuating that Cesar does or has. That is what is false.
If you look at all the books on dog training, you will notice quite a variety of methods. However, there is one common FACT about dog training and that is the human must establish himself as the pack leader. This is part of understanding the nature of dogs. They are not humans and, therefore, cannot be treated like humans.
The "facts" are that Cesar has had an incredible amount of success rehabilitating dogs without hitting them or hurting them. He has not created fear in these dogs, because if he had, the dogs' behavior towards him would indicate fear rather than respect. Instead, the dogs show him respect.
