Parker is very nervous in general, so I was really worried when I moved earlier this year. But I had the chance to get into my new apartment beforehand, to do some painting and cleaning etc. So I made sure to bring Parker with me while we did all that, just to get used to the place. I was totally shocked that he did remarkable well with the transition. Moving day was stressful on him, when the rooms were emptied out he kept running around in circles at the old place. This is funny though... I had a waterbed, which he always slept in, when we drained it, he took a running leap onto the bed.....and there was no mattress just the empty frame..the look on his face was priceless hahaha "what? where's my bed? what happened to my bed?" Poor guy. But all kidding aside he adjusted just fine to the new place, I had no problems, and he's a very nervous little guy. Maybe let someone else keep him on moving day, Parker just didn't know what to think watching everything being taken out of the house lol. And get him used to any new stairs. We use the puppy pads for inside, keep taking him to the pads, so he knows where they will be in the new apt. Best of luck!
