i have a dog that has allergies every year and last year when she was on the prednisone her pancreas strated to shut down fast, she almost died. the dr said it was from the prednisone. this year we tried benadryl but that didnt help her at all any other suggestions? i really dont want to do more then 1 round of pred. actually i didnt want to give her any at all but she was sooo miserable i didnt know what else to do.
