Default Bring Your Dogs To The Rally

Bring Your Dogs To The Rally - that was the subject line of an email I got at work!!

I have never been invited to bring my dogs to my workplace. Not even on take your dog to work day!

Next Thursday, employees get to bring their dogs to work for one of our special rally days - we have them once a month to celebrate successes within the company.

Bad thing is they don't want the dogs in the offices - they don't understand that 2 little Yorkies won't be a problem like some big dogs. Anyway - we usually do the rally inside in the afternoon - but next week it's going to be outside & at 10 am.

They want people to have their dogs in kennels in our small covered parking area - I work downtown in a building with about 1,000 people & we probably have parking for about 25 cars at most. They are going to bring in industrial fans to keep the dogs cool.

But I think I'm going to wait in go in at about 9:30 - which is way earlier than I got there today - lol - that way I don't have to kennel Bubba & Roxie. Then they want us to have our dogs available to interact with employees before & after the rally & participate in a dog parade. (I'm going to take them home after the rally - I only live about 10 min away)

I don't know if I should dress the dogs - or let them go in their natural beautiful long hair - for some people that's just a treat to see Yorkies with long beautiful hair. Any advice??

I'm just hoping that all that interaction is not too much for my furbabies! Especially because we are going on an 11-12 hr car ride the next day!
