My Otis was offered as CKC registered (however I never sent his papers in) I didn't realize at the time that there was a difference between that and AKC. That was before YT taught me so much!!! The registration wasn't real important to me at the time, but I know it is to some folks. So the answer from me is, Yes, I would purchase CKC, because I don't show or breed. But I would not purchase without seeing both parents and the place where they live. Otis was very reasonably priced.
