My feelings are neutral on him, but I did watch the show that the poster was talking about, and Ceasar did not kick the dog. He tapped the dog's butt with his heel as they were walking to redirect his attention. He even said I'm not kicking him. I'm just tapping his rear to help refocus the dog. As far as pinching the scruff of the neck, the breeder I got Teddy from told me to lightly pinch/pull his scruff when he was doing something he was no supposed to do. She explained that is the way the mother would correct the puppies. I wouldn't have picked him up by the scruff, but I have been known to give it a little pull to redirect him when he is doing something he shouldn't. |
