I know! People ONLY give money - never gifts. If someone does happen to give a gift instead of money, people always call them cheap. I personally don't think it's cheap - I think people should give what they can afford. My husband is originally from CA and then his family moved to Idaho. He was SHOCKED to see NY weddings - even our own LOL because Idaho weddings are so much different!! They rent gyms in local high schools or something like that and everyone brings food and gifts. No catering, no limos, etc. We had a hummer limo for our wedding (which he wanted and LOVED) lol
