It's so great that you went back inside! He would have been miserable if you hadn't!!!

I had a similar experience with my jack russell terrier a few years ago. He was crate trained and we crated him any time we left him. One time we were gone only a short time and when we came back he had gotten the bottom 2 teeth (the big ones that stick up on either side of the front 4) stuck in the metal squares of the crate door.

I nearly had a heart attack and it was hard to get them out! I guess he was biting at the crate metal door (he was a real pistol!) and those two teeth slipped through the square but then wouldn't come out until I squeezed on them to push them back out.

It was VERY scarey!!!
