Rainbow was diagnosed with addisons about two weeks ago. She had been fine, and i got up that friday morning at 6, got in the shower, and when i got out i noticed that rainbow wasn't following me, She couldn't walk, her little body was paralized. We rushed to the vet, and he started her on a iv right away. The doc said her potassium was way to high and so was her blood sugar. They kept her for two days, she is home now. And she is acting normal normal. I just don't know what to expect. I am stressing out about it. I have done some research but nothing seems to be consitent. Is this genetic? If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Thanks!
