I can tell you that you are doing the right thing by moving out! (as long as you have police records of the taping and camera's, etc for civic court)
Do not let the extra money you have been paying him go to waste! You are not the one who broke the contract you had- he did! My exlandlord tried something similar with our downpayment money, we got it all back.
As a lesson to others if this ever happens to anyone you know- call the cops first not the landlord!
Your trust will take time build back up but you are doing the right thing by trusting that God has a plan for you and your future!
