Thank you....broken jagged shells at that, that is what is on the beach instead of sand
We used to like to get there at sunrise to look for whole shells. I was always amazed at how many people would be out that early!
Also, my son lives in Florida, and he said he didn't hurt when he walked across the blistering black pavement either, he couldn't even feel it his feet were so tough, however that didn't stop him from getting blisters under his calluses that caused a blood infection
