I guess it depends on your budget. When I go to weddings, I usually try to gie $300. My own wedding was about $120 per head. So I give $300 and figure that it's $150 for me and $150 for Jim. I try to cover our cost in a sense. But some people only give $100 or $200. I guess it depends on how close you are to the person. For example, I would give $300 to a friend but when my friend Christine got married, Jim and I gave her $500 because she is a VERY close friend to us. We're godparents to her twin baby girls. My sister is getting married on Sunday and we're giving her $1,000. But it really depends on your budget and how close you are to the person. I hope this helps.
