Known several here, that keep a leash on them, and keep it tied to their pants till they get trained.

Easier to catch them circling to do the poop dance, or trying to pee on something.

I just got rid of all the carpet in my home because of Venus....put ceramic down...she's now 14 months old, and still goes on pee pads. I was hoping for outside, but that just ain't happening.

Some bell train. Hang a bell on the door you go out...teach them to ring the bell when they want to go out.

I tired that, but Venus will ring it, when she wants to go out and play. Still pottying on the pads.

Older dog, Adonis, does all his business outside. He's 6 years old. You'd think she would too...but suppose I haven't worked hard enough on that.

Even bathroom rugs....she'll pee on. So all mine still put up, as well as the rug that used to be in front of my sink.
