I'm with you on this one.
I try very hard to hold the second person/couple/family off for a few hours to give the first person/couple/family an opportunity, but it doesn't always work out the way I hoped it would.
Hopefully the first person/couple/family will then consider waiting for another litter and add their name to our waiting list.
We have had this scenario a few times also, with a big sigh of relief.
