I think that hamburger has to much fat for these little guys can lead to pancreatitis. Boiled chicken is much better without any skin of course.

Mine have had the black stool. We took a stool sample to the vet to check for any parasites which was negative. It was gastroenteritis and can even be from stress. We were given some meds,a shot of fluid to prevent dehydration and a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice. They were all better in a few days.
