Yes, just once recently Luigi stays in my kitchen whenever I'm not home. I enclose him with a babygate wedged between walls, and then, to make sure it won't budge, I place my barstools against them just in case he decides to push at the gate.

It holds very well, but that wasn't the problem....what happened was I came home and found him ON TOP of one of the barstools!! It was high up and I could tell he'd been there awhile and couldn't get down! He climbed UP the babygate (putting his paws in between the holes of the gate) and got himself stuck on top of the stool. I felt so bad for him! Suffice to say, I don't barricade the gate with my barstools anymore, and so, he doesn't climb up the gate anymore because there's nothing to catch him on the other side.
..Geez, poor baby. I'm never going to let that happen again.
