The organic solution is bacillus thuringiensis. It is also called BT. It is a bacteria that ONLY affects the worms. It is completely non-toxic to humans or pets. It will not hurt your pups or anything else (but I wouldn't spray it yourself since you are PG). You spray it on the tree or bush and it will kill the worms as they feed on the leaves it is sprayed on.
You get it at any organic gardening store and it is not very expensive at all.
