The dog whisperer has spent many years observing dogs and how they interact and learning their silent language. He can look at a dog and tell you what state of mind it is in just by the way it carries it's tail.
His theory about bad dog behavior, is that people cause the bad behavior by not taking the role of the pack leader.
His shows are about going into the homes and showing the people how to take the role of the pack leader.
It is simply amazing how the dog changes instantly, when the people change the way they interact with the dog.

He says he is not a dog trainer, he trains the people, not the dog.
