 speaking of nightmares
The story about the Yorkie abuse is a nightmare........and last night I abused MY Yorkie WITH a nightmare! I was having a vivid dream about getting some family photos down from a closet shelf and someone jumped out and hit me over the head and I woke myself and my little Sascha up with a bloodcurdling scream.........this poor dog was traumatized and it is no exaggeration to say I scared her so badly she growled and prowled the house from room to room for THREE hours afterwards........this experience taught me how sensitive and affected these animals are when they are yelled at or screamed at by frustrated people, much less physically abused.
And one of the factors in profiling serial murderers is engaging in animal abuse.....AND when there is domestic violence in the home, pets are often additional victims.........how sad is that? |
