My condolensces go to you. You sure did the right thing to have her put down. I wish I had done the right thing with my first yorkie, 12 yr old Sally. She developed a heart condition and ended up having pulmonary edema but the vet kept telling us she would put through. She didn't, she choked to death. When my 15 yr cat Chiqui started to show lung failure as a result of cancer I didn't doubt it, I was not going to have her go through what my ignorance and the vet's incompetence had Sally undergo.
I certainly agree with those people who thing this site is perfect to help you cope. I'm glad to hear the messages of sympathy are helping you feel better.
