today I bought canidae kibble and was previously feeding royal canin with some cottage cheese and some times chicken liver or beef....I added the homefoods because he seemed to really dislike RC, but came to me on it...moistening it only helped a bit. I felt canisae looked healthier and took a chance he would like it. I gave him a taste...he loves it. I gave him a meal of it and he ate it up like there was not tomorrow....he ate it dry....I couldnt believe it!...he is such a light and picky eater. Question.....do i have to transition him so as not to upset his tummy and bowels?? If I have to , I am afraid he will skip over the other food and jsut eat this new kibble.
