I use a shower attachment in a tub. It has always worked great for me. You just want to keep water out of their nose and ears. You want to also be sure to completely rinse all shampoo out of their coats. If any is left, it will cause them to itch. I use baby shampoo on the face, Pantene on the rest, and use Johnson's No More Tangles for babies after the final rinse. I always use a blow drier on mine. I'm sure you do just fine.
