I am definitely not an expert, but I can share some things that have worked with my girls. First, for the diarrhea... I give my girls some rice with chix stock and usually it clears up within a day or two, but be sure to watch them closely and when the stool begins to firm up... stop offering rice. I have also found that for the first few days they need to relieve themselves in the middle of the night and they usually let me know it too.
Perhaps Toostsie believes the whelping box is too warm? Last year when it was very hot in our area ( we do not have airconditioning ) our Roxy seemed to have very little interest in her puppies also, but in actuality her behavior was because she was trying desperately not too overheat her puppies. She would jump in just long enough to feed them for a few minutes and then jump out. She usually spent her time sitting near the entrance and this continued until the heat spell ended.
It seems to me if the puppies are not fussy and are gaining weight that she is providing adequate milk. Just remember to continue weighing them on a daily basis. Good luck and congratulations !!
