Tootsie had her babies 13 days ago, she isn't spending alot of time with them, every chance she gets she is laying outside her kennel in my bedroom floor and leaving the babies by themselves, sometimes if they cry she doesn't act like it phases her, she was really attentive when they were first born. she doesn't seem to have much milk either(confirmed by vet) but babies seem healthy and are gaining weight. do you think she thinks she can't feed them? Also when i lock her in the kennel when i'm gone or at bedtime she poops in there and it is runny still and smells awful!!!! she was crate trained before is this a sign of not wanting to be a mommy? how can i stop the runny poop with her nursing?
