It could be so many things. If it's an "external" itch with no other symptoms, it could be your soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, deodorized feminine products, panties that don't allow you to breathe, etc. And, it could also be caused from stress!

I've had phases recently (stress-induced) and spoke with my gyno just this morning about it while in for my exam. She said to try Monistat, especially at night. You don't want to be scratching while you are asleep! If these meds don't clear it up and you've cut out troublesome products (like those everyone's mentioned), then it might be time for a checkup and scrape so they can run some tests.

Oh, and you really aren't supposed to use soap "down there" because most are perfumed and can cause irritations such as this. Now, I have seen a Summer's Eve feminine wash, but I haven't yet tried it.
