Oh, there is also a pill you can get in replace of heartguard. I get it from the vet. Our Gracie will not eat the heartguard. We have tried everything, to cutting it in tiny pieces and mixing it with cottage cheese. She just picks the cottage cheese out. She is very picky this one. Hallee on the other hand will eat anything so we have never had a problem with the regular heartguard. We give them both a pill now crushed in carrot baby food.
