Glad your baby is okay. We always break everything up in very small pieces. ONe day when DH came home at lunch he found Hallee laying in her crate, feet straight out, and grasping for air. She was choking on something. The night before she had chewed up a pee pad and ate some of it, but was fine all night. There was nothing in her cage but her food in little pieces. The only conclusion we could come up with was maybe she was trying to throw up some of the pee pad and it was lodged. DH grabbed her and put his finger down her throat. He dislodged something. At that time, I just got home, grabbed her and off to the vet we went. It scared us to death. We are paranoid about everything.
