I truly can feel your sorrow when the last puppy leaves.
I have to tell all future families to be prepared, because I cannot control the tears when they leave. Also, when it's time to put away the whelping box and and all the other assorted items for puppies too.
I am so glad to hear that you waited for the just the perfect family to adopt Gracie. There have been times when I begin to believe that we are not going to find a family that is worthy of our puppy and just when we get excited about the possibility of it remaining with us ... the phone rings and one of our families that had adopted in the past knows someone who just has to have this precious little puppy. It's wonderful how it works that way.....
