There's a new product out their by Vagisil that detects an infection if you are not sure you have one. Also, if you still have that problem, I wouldn't get any OTC products because they take longer to work. I'd ask for a one time pill called Oral Diflucan from your doctor. That's what I use.
If he won't give you one for some reason, then get Monistat 3. That's only for 3 days as opposed to 7. They do have Monistat 1 also, but I found the 3 worked the best. Good luck! Infections are a bitch!
