I just had lulu spayed in June. She had just turned 8 months. Being as she was small the vet wanted to wait until she was at least 7 months. She had her surgery at the 8 month mark and weighed in at 2 1/2 lbs. She also had about two teeth removed. It has been my experience that up until a bit after a year they can loose baby teeth.
