Hi everyone, yesterday we had Paisley at the vet to have her ears checked due to the infections she had. I'm happy to say they are completely gone.
While there I discussed teething and spaying with the doctor. Paisley is a little over 5 months old now and she hasn't lost any teeth. My Trixie lost all of her teeth around 5-6 months and poor Pia had to have all the baby teeth pulled when spayed. My vet checked Paisley's mouth (the gums) and said she hasn't even begun to start teething. She shows no signs at all.
My question to all of you is,
"when did your yorkie start to lose teeth??" Also, my vet would like to spay Paisley around 7 months from the way things look right now. She wants to give her more time to grow but doesn't want to wait too long because the chance of going into heat. I know no'one can say for sure when this will happen, but on average could some of you tell me when you got your baby girl spayed?
