I might have an idea for you. Ellie goes in the house quite a bit so I am no expert. She knows where she is supposed to go though. She would never use pee pads as a baby so I gave up on that (even with that special spray). Well, she goes in my room when she is shut in there by herself. One day I left a pee pad down after soaking some of her pee up with it. You could try that and then clean the rest of the floor really well. Your dog might get the idea that it is ok to go on pads. Of course, Ellie sometimes goes half on and half off the pads when they are down which is rarely but it might be worth a try.
