My ten month old, Button, is turning into an absolute demon for stealing things!
Not food, he never bothers to take food, he's no glutton. It's other stuff he collects....nice shiny things.....then he either hides them where you can't find them or chews them up
We've resorted to putting stuff out of his reach...... supposedly.
But yesterday he'd taken my husband's new mobile phone & a memory stick with some of his files on, which he'd put on a high shelf...must have climbed from the sofa onto a table & balanced his way across the top of the mantle piece to reach where they were !
The mobile phone was under the dresser & we eventually found the memory stick hidden deep behind the big cushions on the sofa....luckily it was just the non working end that was all chewed up
Since then he's MY dog not OURS.....think i'm going to rename him the Artful Dodger
