I would suggest that you go to some dog shows and look at the breed. Each breeder has thier own style- all are can be top lines and thier are different shades of gold and blue. You can then see which breeder has the look that you want.
Contact the YTCA- and talk with the breeders. Just because you want a puppy and have the money right now may not mean that you will get your puppy at this time. Those top breeders will have a waiting list of other people who have contacted them and want puppies also. You will find that almost every show breeder has a waiting list for show puppies. You may have a litter of 5 puppies and not one has what is needed to win in the show ring.
The breeders may want to get to know who you are. They will want to know are you going to show this puppy? Do you intend to show yourself or with a handler. They may have provisions in the contract that state you co-own the dog with them until the YT is a finished champion. Do you have other YT?
It can be like a very detailed adoption process- with a lot of questions and you may need to provide references. Don't get discouraged.
A top breeder may not have a TOP Show PUPPY available at this time.
