I came home last night from a Birth Mothers Support group only to walk in to:
Maya had pooped all over the foyer rug and Pixie had carried some of it on to the floor and it was smashed in, Then my dtr tells me that Pixie was sick that she threw up in the living room and kitchen, it looked like so much that I thought maybe Maya had done it, but she swears it was Pixe and Pixie also would'nt eat, then I go in to my bedroom and on the peepad is diahrrea with a lot of mucous on it, so I assume it is Pixie since she was throwing up. I go to clean her but and find it is clean so I pick up Cali and she is the one with the diahrrea and I find more on the carpet by my bedside. I decided to not panic and rush into the ER vet as they have been both getting little bouts of these things. This morning, Pixie seems better but Cali had more diahrrea so I gave her some meds I had from last time. Sometimes they just have little upset tummies and a little fluids and meds will fix them right up. Pixie had a similar episode 2 -3 weeks ago and I rushed her to the er vet and the meds cleared her right up. I tend to panic too and I am trying to wait a little bit and see if they feel better the next day. If they were to be really sick and continuing to throw up I would get them right in to the vet. Hope Brandi is better today. I know how you feel!!!
