Kelley Krack competed in her first show this past weekend. She entered her boy Mojo in the match after the Carolina Kennel Club show. Robbie (Butterfly Yorkies), Jan L and I groomed Mojo, gave him a pretty topknot, gave Kelley some quick handling lessons and sent her into the ring. Mojo started limping while he was in the ring. Somehow he had injured his foot. The judge had already examined him on the table and had watched him move so she awarded him a first place. Kelley did a great job showing him. She certainly didn't look like a beginner.

Kelly, just because you are the only one in you class does not mean you automatically get a first place. The judge doesn't have award to you a first place or award you with anything at all. The judge will only give you a ribbon if he\she thinks you deserve it.

Robbie, Jan, Tami and I have a great time showing together. We are glad to have you join us!
