I can't stand when vets make those kind of recommendations. It makes it obvious that some are only in it for the money... I'm very happy that you are going to look for a new vet.

I'd never even consider "debarking" a dog. That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard of.

I'm also VERY anti-declawing for cats. Ironically, the apartment I live in has a silly clause requiring that cats be declawed, but they didn't ask... if they did try to get me to declaw mine, I'd move.

Besides, I didn't pay a hefty pet fee for nothing. :P
