 Shredding pee pads, should I just give up?
My dog Harlem has now reverted to shredding the pee pads. He is 5 months and he doesn't have the pee pad thing all the way down. He will, however, use the pads either to pee or to poop but never both on the pad. One always ends up on the floor. But now he's shredding the pads even before he uses it and even after he has used it. I want to know how long she he continue to use the pads? At what point do you say no more training pads and should we just give up and take him outside everytime? I really really really don't want a dog that uses the bathroom outside, I guess mainly because I'm lazy and can't imagine taking him out in the cold and also when we are gone, I want him to be able to stay home and use the pad when he has to go by himself. I'm I living in a dream world???? |
