I can't imagine that anyone would do this. Ours is a little runner, and her bark is what has helped us find her when it was dark. I know I am a bad mom because we don't have a fence, but she has pulled herself out of our hands or had her harness and her collar break as well. Anyway, barking is how they protect themselves and us.
