FlaLadee, your yorkie has a very similar coat to one of mine. I think the not brushing to often thing only applies to silky coats because other types tend to mat very easily. I have heard that mink sheen is very good but I can't get it as I live in the UK. I have tried endless different ones and find that pantene shampoo and conditioner work the best. I bath mine once a week.
