Have any of you ever heard of a Biewer Yorkie before or seen one.

While i was "surfing the web" I came across a few sites on these types of Yorkies.

I am not sure what they are mixed with, possibly a Maltese?

However the costs are tremendously high and I see they are not recognized by AKC either.

I just don't understand the reasoning behind the high charges for these mixed breeds lately?

The pictures that I have seen so far of these Biewer's are adorable, mixed with white coloring etc but bottom line is they are a mixed breed which is fine, as mixed breed dogs are great also, but again cannot comprehend the high costs for them. The breeders on these web sites make it seem that they have created this special breed...I wonder where the term "Biewer" came from ?
