The vet said give it. I asked here and no one seemed adverse to it. I looked it up on the web and it said 4 weeks. I thought it was young, too.
I really don't know if that would have made him constipated? I think he had a piece of dry poop stuck over his rectum that may have stopped him up. It's wierd, but he seemed fine before I bathed him.
