I didnt have to start weaning till mine were 5 weeks old. If you dont have to start weaning yet I would hold off personally, they need the milk nutrician from mom as long as possible. If theres a reason you have to suppliment then I suggest making it soupy and work towards thickening it up as the days pass. Good luck hun!!!
