Have you looked at the Saturn's SUV/crossover? Last year when I was looking for a new car, I was pretty impressed with the price of the Saturn Vue and now there is a new Saturn crossover (can't remember the name). Anyway, the Vue has the Honda engine and the electronic steering was fabulous. However, the Vue was pretty small, but I think the new crossover is bigger.
Good luck on your decision - buying a new car is my least favorite thing to do!
