Fun! Just grab a piece of paper and have fun playing with it. It doesn't have to make any sense and you don't have to use the parent names. Do remember the guidelines for how many letters you can use and if you wanted to use the kennel name of the breeder you have to have permission from them. Some of the show dogs have names that have no connection with their call name. I work in a elementary school library. The name I used for my maltese was inspired by an award winning childrens book titled Snowflake Bentley, it won the Caldecott medal that is awarded each year for the art work in childrens literature. My husband is an artitst so that kind of seemed fitting. The book is biography about a man named Wilson Bentley whom was the first to photograph a snowflake. Photography is a hobby of mine so that was also a neat connection. And of course maltese are white so it just kind of all fell together. Then I added Renoir to the name because of art and it's a form of our last name Reno. His akc named is "Renoir's Snowflake Bentley" Mia's name is Renoir's MiaBella Blue. The meaning of Mia is "mine" and Bella means "beautiful" and the Blue is of course the color of the yorkie hair. So I thought it a perfect name for her. You have a good name to start the groundwork with..I bet you come up with something really nice.
